CLASSES! WE'RE FINALLY HAVING CLASSES! Use our shopping cart to "purchase" your spot in our classes. You will not be charged shipping or sales tax. Currently we are only teach one class, through the Des Moines Adult Education program. We are in the process of doing a major cleaning/reorganization of our classroom space in order to serve you - and us! - better. We will resume our on-farm classes once we have completed our project. Container Herb Gardening for Personal Care - Monday, May 5th . Want to start growing herbs for personal care but don't know where to start? Let the owners of Prairieland Herbs teach you the basics including container types, and how to grow, harvest and dry them. You'll learn about which herbs to grow for hair, for skin care and for healing. Take home three herbs of your choice to get started, along with information handout, and recipes for making various products from your garden! Sample Sundays! We team up once a month with our neighbors from Picket Fence Creamery and Northern Prairie Chevre to bring you a wonderful afternoon of fun, samples, and family activities. Each farm offers free food, beverage, or goodie samples, and often have family activities, guest vendors, or even music! Each Sample Sunday is a little different, and a lot of fun. Bring the family and come on out!
